My name is Tachiya Bryant. I am a Bay Area Native who currently works in the Art Industry. I am a Social Media Manager for the Institute of Contemporary Art San Jose and a multimedia artist. My Story
I have always deeply loved art, fashion, poetry and music. I remember being younger convinced I was going to be a fashion designer and doodling mock-ups. I got the style part right. My hobbies intersect with my career because I love photography and trying new edits. While my mediums have been upgraded, my love for graphic design has not wavered. Earlier this year, I had a commission that allowed me to design limited edition t-shirts for a Jamba franchise.

I have written, produced, and filmed a short film this year. Inertia (2022) was shot and edited in a day. This was just to test the waters; I hope to write longer films and have other productions in the works. I have many songs that I have written but have not been sold. 2023 I hope to add some accomplishments in the writing and production category. For now, I have a published interview with Pantea Karimi, an Iranian artist, opening up about the viral movement. My interview with Sam Marks, a beloved peer and artist, was mentioned in the Mercury News by Sal Pizarro. Sal Pizarro also mentioned in the article the social media activity for the ICA benefit auction, which happens to be my role at ICA.

In a few years, I see myself doing work surrounded by the entertainment industry. I think the fast-paced glitz and glamour scene, has always spoken to me. I don't see myself being in front of the scene just yet. I enjoy the behind-the-scenes production that goes into making the illusion, that we all know as Hollywood, work.
